Blog-a-holic’s Not-so-Anonymous
I’d like to welcome each and every one of you to “Blog-a-holic’s Not-so-Anonymous”!!
B.N.S.A. is a support group that was especially made for anyone with anywhere from a minor to an EXTREME addiction to blogging. I’m sure all of you are wondering how you know when you are addicted. Simple…just look at the list of symptoms below and if one or more of them seem like you…you are an addict of some form!!
Symptoms of a Blog-a-holic include…
- Having to make at least one entry in your blog per day (weekends EXCLUDED) to keep your fellow bloggers up-to-date!!
- Having to keep updating your space and/or blog as much as possible!! (Can’t have OLD information on there!)
- Having to hop online to check your friends blogs or to cruise the Blvd at least once daily!!
- Not being able to wait or being overly excited about getting online and blogging.
- Staying up late to work on writing a blog or updating your space.
- Someone at work tells you a joke and you say “LOL”
- You beg your friends to get an account so you “can hang out”.
- You no longer type with proper capitalization, punctuation, or complete sentences.
- You begin to say “Heh Heh Heh” instead of laughing
- When someone asks “What did you say?” you reply “Scroll up”
- You find yourself sneaking away to the pc while everyone else in the house is asleep
- You turn down the lights and close the blinds so people won’t know you’re online again.
- You know more about your MSN/Spaces friends daily routines than those close to you…like family and close friends.
- You find yourself lying to others about your time online and when they complain that your phone was busy, you claim it was off the hook!
- You have identity crisis if someone is using a screen name close to yours.
- You would rather tell people that your bloodshot eyes are from partying too much than the truth (you were online ALL NIGHT!)
If you find yourself experiencing ANY of these symptoms…you need to get help immediately!! Feel free to stop by and share anything at anytime!! We are here to help you crack this addiction!!!
~As with all addictions…the first step is realization and admission…take that first step!!~
