Some random chick saw my vagina...

So...the day I have been dreading is unfortunately here.

Tomorrow my cousins and my Aunt and Uncle leave to go back to Thailand. I have had one real day with Haley and 2-3 days with Braeden. Yeah...over a 2 month span that is it. Kinda sucks, but what else can I do. I was not able to go up north when they were there and they were not able to come down here. Shit happens.

Last night Haley came over to my apartment and we had pizza, watched a movie, and drank. I bough a bunch of booze in anticipation of her and I getting drunk, but that didn't happen. So...now I have all this extra booze. I know my roomie won't drink half of it cuz I bought coors light and she calls it piss water. I like Miller better than Coors, but I thought Haley might like my special Coors drink. I guess I will just have to save it for the Brewers game. I think we fell asleep pretty soon in the movie. The last thing I remember is the slugs in flushed away being the boat alarms. I could rewind that part all day.

So...we woke up and got ready today. It was off to the mall to do some serious shopping and hang out time. Well, we really did some serious shopping. At least Haley did. I bought Andy something for his bday and I bought something for Kristin for her Bday. Sure, Kristin's bday was July 9th, but considering we USUALLY exchange bday presents in December....I think I am doing pretty good.

While Haley was in the one store....I had to pee so...I ran to the bathroom. I go into the bathroom, pick a stall, and lock the door. Well...apparently my stall was dysfunctional cuz....some random chick pulled my stall door open and just stood there in total shock staring at me while I was peeing. I mean, what was I supposed to do...stand up and close the door???  She probably already got a good glimpse of my vagina....why stand up and show it to anyone else in the bathroom?? I betcha she was soo stunned at the prettyness of it that she was rendered completely speechless. LOL! It was a very entertaining part of the day.

Sooo....after shopping it was to the rents for dinner and then off to a movie. Brae and Mike went to see the Simpsons movie and Haley, Andy, and I went to see hairspray. It was a great movie. Even Andy was laughing through most of it. I wasn't expecting it to be that  good. It is a movie that will be added to my collection as soon as it comes out onto DVD.

Haley talked to DAN all the way home. WHO is Dan?? Dan is this cute boy with curly hair that Haley met through a friend when she came back to the US who she went out with a few times who is apparently in love with her. They gave eachother hickies and everything. Sounds pretty serious to me!! (She will never read this and if she does she can not be embarassed cuz of the very few people that do read it!!) Anyways...it was cute. I kept txting her while she was on the phone to drive her nuts!!! Kinda funny!

Now, we are back at the house and after being silly and taking some pics, Haley is outside on the phone with Dan again and Brae and Mike are playing playstation. I am going to go outside and bug Haley as soon as I am done with this blog and loading todays pictures on facebook.

My cousins, Haley & Brae, mean sooo much to me. I can't explain it, but I feel a very special bond with them. Maybe it is because we are all adopted...I dunno. It's just different. I love them both soo much and will miss them like crazy. I don't know if I can wait another 2 years before I see them again. Who knows...maybe I will find some reason to bring them home next summer or maybe I will have to go and visit. All I know is...they aren't even gone and I miss them already. So...Haley...if you read this. You are just the coolest kid ever. I love you to death and while I wish we had more time together....the time we had was rockin awesome!!! I wouldn't trade it for anything!!!

(p.s. below are 2 blogs I wrote on a different blogging site since being home. My pc wouldn't let me to this site for some reason. Check em out...and my new pics!!)

Drunk and floating down the river....

I must admit, I had one hell of a weekend and couldn't have asked for a better one. Sure, the long distance drive blew big time, but it was an awesome weekend.

We left West Bend around 6:30pm and made it to bum-fuck, WI (aka Hayward) at 12:30am. Crystal and Brandon were already up there waiting with a fire. We sat around and chit chatted for a bit before going to bed.

Friday wasn't a very event filled day, but probably one of the funniest. Too bad about half of the people involved will not remember a thing. We woke up pretty early and ended up heading to wally world to pick up some necessities that we still needed. It was the most redneck trailor trash place I have ever seen. They didnt have Miller Lite or Snapple. What kind of a supposed establishment of quality runs out of Miller Lite??? Not a good one! Wally World by us would NEVER had let themselves run out of Miller Lite. After all...anytime is Miller Time!! We ended up coming back and doing some swimming in the pool. After that we decided to go tubing on the river. We pretty much sat in those tubes with the doughnut holes and drifted down the river with the current. The trip was supposed to last a little under 2 hours...so we should be done before 6pm. Well...we had our own ideas. We had permission to bring a cooler along and we did soo. The cooler was loaded with a 24 pack of Miller Lite that we brought up with us, 8 Mike's hard lemonade things, and a one liter bottle of blackberry brandy. In less than two hours in the sun on the river it was all gone. Sure, that may not seem like a lot for 6 people, but it was. We were falling over eachother and off the tubes and flashing eachother and it was just one drunken mess. Andy kept diving into the water with his sunglasses on and losing them, yet he kept doing it. It was pretty bad. Hilarious...but bad. Brandon and Lohr went ahead to see where out pick up spot was supposed to be and we were supposed to follow close behing. Well...Crystal, Emily, and Andy could not stay on their tubes much less walk straight. It was sooo bad. So, I decided to make myself sober up fasted. Andy had left his tube drift down the river a while ago so I made him sit on mine and told them they were NOT allowed off their tubes and grabbed the string connecting all of the tubes and the cooler full of water and empty cans and bottles and pulled. I pulled them all for a good mile or so till we got to the pickup point where Lohr, Brandon, and I had to haul the cooler, the tubes, and the 3 drunk-os up the hill. I even had to help my drunk ass boyfriend get into the van. He couldn't do it alone. It was after 7pm when they picked us up. Thank God they didnt give up on us and leave us behind. I have noo clue how we would have gotten them all home.

Well, the night ended pretty quickly. Andy puked for the first time ever from drinking and passed out in no time. Emily and Crystal were out pretty quick too. Before 8:30pm for sure. It was up to Brandon. Lohr, and I to babysit and entertain outselves. Needless to say...I got camera happy and had some fun. Thankfully, it was early to bed. To put it lightly...Andy was a stubborn one and quite the sass when I woke him up to get him into the tent because I heard it was supposed to rain.  Maybe I should have left him outside to get rained on?

Saturday was the busy day of the weekend, but just as much fun. We started out the day with our trip to Al Capone's hideout. I'm not going to lie, it wasn't as cool as I thought it would be, but I love history and things like that are right up my ally so I did very much enjoy it.  It was a cool house with some amazing interior (which unfortunately I was not allowed to photograph because no pictures were allowed inside) and some great history. It was coo being in a building that the one and only Al Capone....king of the mafia people....once lived. It was an hour long tour and very fact filled. A little corny, but it worked.

From there it was back to the hayward area closer to camp to the Lumberjack Show. Andy and I were bummed when we found out that the weekend before we went up there was the World Lumberjack Championship. That would have been highly entertaining. We did go and see the actual Lumberjack show thought. It was great. Watching the guys run across logs on the water and fall in and get soaked and doing the log roll and climbling up a 60ft pole in no time at all....it was great! All I have to say is... Yo HO!!!!! (Don't ask...u had to be there!)

We got back to the camp in time to have some dinner, for me to take a nice 2 hour name, and to get some predrinking done. It was western weekend and there were horseback rides, wagon rides, and even a country hodown dance. (All of which were only attended by kids like 10 and under so...we decided not to participate in) We did participate in a fun game of Cosmic Mini Golf. The balls were glow in the dark. Lohr and I had Blue Balls...ha ha ha. We all brough extra booze along to drink and before the end of the game...were pretty drunk. Everything somehow was turned into a perverted or sexual reference and it was just an all around great time.

We went to the playground and took some hilarious pictures which i absolutely love and some of which will be uploaded and one of which will make my profile picture. It was a riot and a great time. We got this tiki thing that when you burn it is supposed to make a face and last for 2 hrs and that in itself was entertaining. On top of it, we were drinking and eating smored and lighting off firecrackers and just having an all around great time. At one point int time we decided to light Andy's farts on fire. Well....it ended up making a burn mark on his shorts. We actually got a good one to light and everyone was laughing soo hard we damn near peed our pants. We were all pretty drunk, but having a great time. PLus, we stayed away from things like the blackberry brandy so...all was ok!!

Sunday was not really adventurous or crazy. We had breakfast, cleaned up camp, and left. On the way home we did stop at a big candy store in the town of hayward and a few shirt shops, but that was it. Ohh...we did get stuck in some nasty traffic on the way home. Now, I am sitting here in my own bed and am secretly wishing for the lumpy ground under the tent because that would mean that we could all be sitting around the campfire drinking and chattin and having a great time.

It's ok...Andy said we are going to go camping one more time this summer...so...I am a happy camper!!!

    Chillin w/ my home bears...

Ok...so the title has nothing to do with me. My roomie was listening to some song about naked peek-a-boo and I thought it was funny and  had to put it as a title. Sorry...I had no other creative ideas today.

Today was a good day. Waking my ass up at 6am to go to work early blew, but hey...for the long weekend I am going to be having...it is sooo worth it!!

Work was blah. I had to make copies in the church office today and saw some interesting reading material. One was some pamphlet about why you shouldn't shake your baby....lol. Do people really need  to be told that shaking an infant is not good for them. MORONS!! Anyways...the copier was the coolest thing. Most that I have seen only push the paper up onto the rack of complete ones. Nope...not this one. This one shot them out of of it like a bullet and it went flying into the metal containment pieces and floated down to the top of the others that are done. I was hypnotized watching it. Then, my one and only Christine called me and we were a chit chatting and she asked me to hold cuz her mom was calling on the landline soo...I waited. I could kinda here her talking and expected the tradition "Hi Mom. How are you?" Nope...all I hear is "Did you know that most peopl don't know that the can save money on their diabetes equiptment with medicare. Medicare gets me my stripes for nothin" She said it with this complete and total hillbilly accent. (Apparently its from some commercial that always plays during the price is right) I fell on the floor in the church office and was laughing so hard I damn near peed my pants. It is probably one of those "you had to be there" moments, but it was great. Luckily I was alone in there or I would have looked like a dumbass, but it was great. I looooove my Christine.

I left at one so I could run some errands before I met Rachel for lunch at 2. We needed to talk about how things work when dating people of different religions and the whole marriage thing around that. Well....our quick little lunch turned into a good 2 hour lunch. Yeah...we got to talking. It was great. I havent had a conversation like that in a long time and it felt good. It made me think back to the days  back in college when we would go to the choc factory and get smoothies and just sit there and talk for hours upon hours. Good times and some great memories.

So...went back to work for a few hours then met up with Andy and Andy. (Andy and Lohr as I call em) We discussed a few items for our departure time tomorrow. After that it was to McD's for dinner where most of our time was spent making faces and innapropriate gestures at Jamie who was working. That girl is sooo cute! I hope that someday down the road she will be my sister!! Can't help but love her!!!

Time passed and eventually it was time for my lesson. Lesson?? I know, I'm not in school, but I had a refresher course on driving stick. (Andy's personal stick...I totally know how to handle, but when it comes to his truck...I am a lost cause!!) I learned like 3-4 years ago and drove stick...once. I think I told Andy twice cuz I thought it was twice, but now I think it was only once. Anyways....of course his mom and step dad HAD to be around when I first hopped behind the wheel. I conked it  out once in the driveway then was on a roll...till the end oftheir long driveway where I am pretty sure I conked it out again. Well, now I am sitting at home with his car in my driveway and mine in his and we are both at our respective houses so...I would assume that I did a good enough job and passed the course to the point where he would let me drive it alone. YAY ME!!! It's been a while but its like riding a bike...you may get rusty, but you don't forget.

I'm sure you are wondering why we are switching cars for tomorrow. We have to leave for camping a little after 5 and he gets done with work at 4:30. So, I am going to pack the truck early and have it ready for when he gets to the apartment so all he has to do is shower and we can go. That way we dont have to worry about spending an extra half hour packing after he is done with work and his shower.

Anyways...I am super excited for this weekend. It sucks that its over 6 hrs to get to Hayward and that Cingular probably wont  have reception up there. So, if I dont answer your calls....you know why!! It's not that I recently discovered that you and my boyfriend are secret lovers and that I hate you...cuz I know you would NEVER do anything like that.  It's just that I am out of celly range! Sorry!! Plus, we will be in bear territory. *eery music*

Those are the "bad" things about this weekend. The good things are that it is thurs through sunday so...I have that many days off and away. It's Andy's and my first real vacation without the families which totally rocks. Plus, I kinda consider it a late 21st bday party for him but an early 22nd. He has never gotten wasted since his bday. Sad, but true. So...this weekend we don't plan on remembering much of. We plan on living it over again through pictures. HELL YEAH! I am sooo game. So...when we get up there at like 11 tomorrow night...we are cracking open the booze and starting!!  The campsite is apparently not far from the place Al Capone hid out in wisconsin. So, we are going to Al Capone's hideout. I even have an outfit specifically for that day. I am just a little pumped about that. I bought Andy Al Capone mini cigarette cigars for fun.

Anyways, I don't know what is all going on this weekend except for the boozing. Boozing is never a bad thing. Especially when you don't do it often...like me. So, ladies and gents. I am off to bed to prepare for a looong day tomorrow. I will miss you all. Hopefully nothing horribly crazy happens....like me waking up hungover naked among the bears.

Talk about chillin w/ my home bears......

    HA HA HA!

Don't miss me too much and leave me lots of comments to read when I get back!

    July 31

A peek into my very own TOP SECRET file!

So...the other day I was at work putting some files away at my old grade school and what do you know...I found my file. Needless to say, curiosity got the better of me. I found one piece of paper that is from ever parent-teacher consultation during my time at the school and what was discussed or observed. You have to check this out.

    PRESCHOOL
Michelle gets along well with the other children, but does not actively participate in the games. She depends quite a bit on her friend Taryn. She seem to enjoy the bible storie. She usually cooperates, but is still learning.

    KINDERGARTEN
Michelle is one of the youngest kids in the class. She seemed to struggle to get her work done at first, but is improving. Her mother would not object to Michelle repeating the class if that would be to her advantage.

    FIRST GRADE
Michelle picked up reading easily. Her writing shows immaturity. She prefers using a crayon to a pencil. She's not always prompt in finishing her work. She has a cheerful personality and likes to "mother" others.

    SECOND GRADE
Michelle loves reading- math is somewhat harder, but she is handling it nicely. She needs to be neater in her work and stay on task. She is a loving child.

    THIRD GRADE
Michelle is starting to work a little faster. Parents help about 1 hr at home each night. She has a peer tutor 3 times a week to help her stay "on task" and get organized. She needs to take responsibility for her work.

    FOURTH GRADE
Michelle is improving at staying on task and will be encouraged to do so. Math facts knowledge will be worked on at home. She is getting better about not worrying about other people.

    FIFTH GRADE
Michelle is concerned, considerate, polite, and confident. She is getting beter at getting started and finised with her work promptly. She seems to have a heavier load of homework. She has had much imcomplete work. She alwas has a smile to share.

    SIXTH GRADE
Michelle loves attention. She gets it by asking millions of questions. We're working on lists of 10 questions per day. Lates were a problem, but haven't been lately. Communication w/ home is critical.

    SEVENTH GRADE
Michelle is doing well. She spends hours on homework, but she wanders often. Mom likes the progress, but understands how it may takea  toll on Michelle. Her only extra curricular is cheerleading.

    EIGHTH GRADE
Michelle is an outgoing young lady. She works slowly, but pretty much to her ability. She always has a smile. She should do well in life.

Now isn't that just peachy. Theres nothing like looking in your file to see what your teachers really thought of you in gradeschool. I am still as shy as I was in preschool. I love meeting new people, but find it hard to just go and talk to people. One of my ex friends from college and I were super close, but it took me a good 3 weeks to introduce myself in art class. I admit, I don't find making new friends easy. I find it terrifying and nerve wracking, but I love having more friends.

As for the whole thing about me doing homework slow....did anyone even think that I might have a learning disability??? I guess not. I found out end of highschool. Yeah...ADD and something else. My mind does tend to wander and I STILL prefer crayons over pencils!! Who wants boring old gray when you can have whatever color fits your mood that day?? NOT ME!

I love my 6th grade teachers comments about me always wanting attention and therefor asking soooo many questions. HELLO!!! When you are in school and learning something...aren't you supposed to ask a bunch of questions. Especially when you have been documented by every teacher in the previous classes as being a slower learner. I would think so, but then again...what do I know. I'm not a teacher that thinks they know all. I still can't believe that no one figured out that I had a learning disability before highschool. The fact that I picked up on reading is a nobrainer. I need something to really entertain me and captivate my mind in order for me to actually be able to concentrate on it for a longer period of time. Thats part of the reason I left college. Not just cuz I could not pick a major, but because I can't focus. I can't sit there in a classroom and listen to someone in a boring monotone voice talk on and on and on about something boring. I just can't.

Anyways.....reading my file at school helped me learn a lot about myself. According to my teachers' disses and compliments...the only 2 things I have going for me are the fact that I LOVE to read and that I have a great and open personality. Well...I wish I had known this a loooong time ago. I wouldn't of kept trying so hard. I am sooo screwed.

I guess reading my file wasn't such a good idea after all.....
